MixTrail is a humble attempt to reorganize the vast wealth of human intellectual and creative output from across the Internet into meaningful, cross-site organizational structures to nurture deeper understanding.
We are a boot-strapped startup currently in private beta, smoothing the sharp edges. Let us know if you’d like an invitation, but be warned we’re rolling MixTrail out slowly.
Ed Mullen, Design - Ed heads up the product side of MixTrail. MixTrail was spawned out of a career working with organizations of all sizes that have struggled with the challenges of spreading information. Ed was Design Lead for HealthCare.gov. He has worked independently since 2006. In 2001 he helped start Squeaky Wheel Media as Creative Director. More about Ed
Robb Smylie, Technology - Robb heads up the tech side of things. For the last 10 years Robb has been helping Teach for America solve their big challenge: to educate and serve underserved children. That's a big problem. He's done this by leveraging technology in a way that makes the impact of the organization scale up efficiently. The more work that can be automated through algorithms, or eliminated by making data more usable, the more that can be done with fewer resources. Technology can have a huge impact on how people do their jobs when applied correctly. That's the imperative that Robb's work at TFA has sought to advance.
We’d love to talk with you. Feel free to drop us a line.
